Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and focused work habits.
  • Must be able to work extended periods of standing and frequent lifting from 5 pounds up to 30 pounds.
  • Must have exposure to basic electronic testing and repairs and be mechanically inclined.
  • Basic computer knowledge required, including data entry, use of email, Excel and Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • A 2–4-year degree or certification is a huge plus.
  • ERP knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Checks that equipment is in correct inventory bin within ERP system.
  • Starts, tests, replaces or repairs electrical/electronic and mechanical components, primarily on used computer tablets & PCs.
  • Verifies tablet serial number to repair list.
  • Starts tablet or other equipment in accordance with procedures for device activation and shutdown.
  • Charges tablet as needed.
  • Performs analysis on devices for functionality with peripherals such as card readers, USB ports and fingerprint scanners.
  • If repairable, moves to repair inventory bin location in ERP system.
  • If non-repairable, moves to inactive inventory.
  • Replaces or repairs non-functioning parts such as card readers and fingerprint scanners to a refurbished state.
  • Rechecks tablet functionality with all peripherals.
  • Once repaired, moves to imaging inventory bin in ERP and delivers physical tablet to the imaging area.
  • Maintains company-required inventory, performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
  • Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.
  • May be asked to perform work in other functional areas, clean and organize the work area and take on additional duties as assigned.
  • Performs work under direct supervision.
  • Handles basic issues and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses working knowledge of subject matter.

Benefits

  • The US base hourly range for this position is $23.54- 29.48/hr + benefits.
