About The Position

National Water Main Cleaning Company-New England is part of Carylon Corporation and specializes in municipal infrastructure inspection and rehabilitation. The company’s inspection division cleans and televises sewer and drain lines for cities, towns, and engineering firms across New England. Its rehabilitation services include concrete and epoxy coating, chemical grouting, cured-in-place pipe installation, trenchless point repairs, and vacuum excavation. The Electronics Repair Technician diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs robotic sewer crawlers, inspection cameras, and electronic systems in CCTV trucks. This is a full-time hourly position based in Brockton, Massachusetts, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pay is $27–$40 per hour, negotiable based on experience. The role works in an industrial shop setting and may involve troubleshooting technical issues by phone with operators at job sites.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience working with audio/video electronics or robotics.
At least 2 years of experience working with circuit boards, cable sets, and prototypes.
At least 2 years of experience working with schematics, diagrams, and written and verbal descriptions.
Soldering and hot-air rework experience.
Experience with oscilloscopes and function generators.
Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
Ability to handle and assemble small parts.
Ability to work on a team.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot sewer robots and cameras to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
Repair electrical damage to printed circuit boards and mechanical damage to pipe repair and inspection robots.
Maintain electronics and equipment on CCTV trucks.
Keep detailed repair logs and maintenance records for all equipment.
Troubleshoot some technical issues by phone with operators at job sites.
