About The Position

National Water Main Cleaning Company-New England is seeking a full-time Electronics Repair Technician to work in Brockton, Massachusetts. The company specializes in municipal infrastructure inspection and rehabilitation, including sewer and drain line inspection and trenchless rehabilitation. In this role, the technician diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs robotic sewer crawlers, inspection cameras, and electronic systems housed in CCTV trucks. The position is hourly, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with pay of $27–$40 per hour, negotiable based on experience. Candidates may be asked to demonstrate soldering ability during the interview.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience working with audio/video electronics or robotics.
At least 2 years of experience working with circuit boards, cable sets, and prototypes.
At least 2 years of experience working with schematics, diagrams, and written and verbal descriptions.
Soldering and hot-air rework experience.
Experience with oscilloscopes and function generators.
Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
Ability to handle and assemble small parts.
Ability to work on a team.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot sewer robots and cameras to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
Repair electrical damage to printed circuit boards and mechanical damage to pipe repair and inspection robots.
Maintain electronics and equipment on CCTV trucks.
Keep detailed repair logs and equipment maintenance records.
Work in an industrial shop setting.
Troubleshoot some technical issues by phone with operators at job sites.
