About The Position
Spectrum Safety Solutions, a global leader in fire detection and suppression solutions, is seeking an Electronics Assembler for its Det-Tronics brand. Det-Tronics focuses on building and maintaining comfortable, accessible, efficient, healthy, safe, secure, and sustainable environments through technologically innovative products and systems. The Production Technician role involves the assembly, testing, and quality inspection of gas detection and alarm control devices. This position is located at RC Systems in Santa Fe, Texas.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Well organized
- Effective Communication Skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Software such as Word and Excel
- Understanding of basic electrical theory (e.g. Ohm’s Law)
- Familiarity with operating various hand and power tools
Nice To Haves
- Associates or Technical degree in electronics
- Understanding of technical drawings
- One year experience with troubleshooting and repair of electronic devices
Responsibilities
- Read and fulfill purchase orders from customers
- Perform acceptance testing on R.C. Systems products
- Perform minor repairs on electrical components
- Assemble electrical components into various configurations depending on customer request
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
