About The Position

IPCMobile is hiring a temporary Electronics Assembler to help customize products. The role involves following assembly instructions and reading bills of materials (BOMs) to assemble electronic products. The successful candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, organized, methodical, comfortable working with their hands and small tools, and willing to offer observations and recommendations. This is a full-time, temporary position in Irvine, California, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is temporary through December 31, 2026. Local candidates only; relocation and H-1B sponsorship are not offered. Official hiring is contingent on a background check and drug test, and the company uses e-Verify.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Able to follow instructions and read bills of materials (BOMs).
Experience in electronics assembly.
Able to work with hands and small tools.
Physical activity expectations include repetitive hand motions; continuous sitting, standing, and listening; often walking, bending or stooping, balancing, and lifting up to 30 pounds; and seldom climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, pulling or pushing, and lifting up to or over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Contribute to the team by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
