About The Position

The Electronics Assembler I is responsible for the complete assembly and production of electronic parts and products working under close direction of the Production Manager, trainer, or senior personnel in the functional area. The incumbent should possess a strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow drawings, wiring schematics, and assembly instructions to efficiently assemble a wide variety of electronic devices. Electronic Assemblers play an essential role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that all parts are assembled according to quality and technical standards set by the company.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1 years of experience in Electronics Assembly
  • Attention to detail
  • Dexterity in small part assembly
  • Clear communication, ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
  • Demonstrates good communication skills, teamwork and willingness to learn
  • Good time management
  • Knowledgeable with hand tools, screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, power drills, etc.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Self-motivated, ביותר goal-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong work ethic pursuing a high standard of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic components according to detailed work instructions, schematics, and technical drawings. This involves understanding specifications and ensuring that all parts are assembled in accordance with the product design.
  • Carefully handle and place components such as resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, connectors, and switches in specified locations, ensuring proper alignment, orientation, and installation.
  • Use soldering irons to join electronic components and wires to PCB and wire harness assemblies.
  • Perform wiring tasks, such as attaching wires to terminals or connectors using crimping and soldering methods and routing them according to specifications and schematics.
  • Assemble various parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. This includes fitting, aligning, and securing parts to create a finished product or sub-assembly.
  • Work closely with other assemblers and departments, such as engineering and quality control, to ensure smooth workflow and communication. Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and improvements.
  • Effectively manage time to meet production deadlines. Prioritize tasks and work efficiently to ensure that assembly goals are achieved within the required timeframe.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the assembly process. This is crucial for ensuring that all components are assembled correctly and that the final product meets quality standards.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors regarding production processes, equipment performance, and potential improvements. Reporting issues promptly can help prevent production delays and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
