Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certifications in IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-7711
  • 3-5 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in electronics assembly and testing
  • Proficiency in using tools, gauges, schematics, and electronic equipment
  • Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Basic computer skills
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes
  • At least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

  • Perform disassembly and reassembly of top assembly chassis, sub-assemblies, and components with minimal instruction, ensuring every step meets stringent quality standards.
  • Share expertise by cross-training, mentoring, and providing technical assistance to fellow assemblers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Set up and operate advanced test equipment, including digital/analog voltmeters, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot meters, and more, to evaluate and troubleshoot electronic products using schematics and established procedures.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure every product meets exacting standards, while recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Provide clear written and oral feedback on test evaluations, assembly processes, and quality outcomes, ensuring seamless communication across teams.
  • Keep workstation, tools, and equipment organized, while adhering to all company safety rules and regulations.
