Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certifications in IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-7711
- 3-5 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in electronics assembly and testing
- Proficiency in using tools, gauges, schematics, and electronic equipment
- Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Basic computer skills
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes
- At least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Perform disassembly and reassembly of top assembly chassis, sub-assemblies, and components with minimal instruction, ensuring every step meets stringent quality standards.
- Share expertise by cross-training, mentoring, and providing technical assistance to fellow assemblers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Set up and operate advanced test equipment, including digital/analog voltmeters, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot meters, and more, to evaluate and troubleshoot electronic products using schematics and established procedures.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure every product meets exacting standards, while recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Provide clear written and oral feedback on test evaluations, assembly processes, and quality outcomes, ensuring seamless communication across teams.
- Keep workstation, tools, and equipment organized, while adhering to all company safety rules and regulations.
