The Level II Electronic Warfare Specialist supports threat modeling within the Signal Modeling Framework (SMF) and the test data product automation line. This role requires deep product knowledge of the Knee Board Card and Signal Detection Set to validate that simulated threats and generated EW products are operationally representative and suitable for warfighter use. The specialist will review mission software and product content before electronic distribution. This position is part of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center, Intelligence Electromagnetic Warfare and Sensors (IEW&S) Directorate, operating the Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) at Aberdeen Proving Ground. ARAT is responsible for building, testing, and distributing mission software for fielded electromagnetic warfare systems. The ARAT Innovation Initiatives effort focuses on modernizing this infrastructure through various advanced testing and distribution methods, utilizing Agile sprints and DevSecOps practices.
