About The Position

Hatalom Corporation is seeking an Electronic Technician Maintenance to support U.S. Marine Corps training systems at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina. The selected candidate will perform operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and readiness support for training devices including the Improved Moving Target Simulator (IMTS), Stinger Training System (STS), MADIS Desktop Trainer (MDT), and MADIS Virtual Trainer (MVT). This position serves as the site lead responsible for supervising maintenance personnel, ensuring equipment readiness, and supporting customer training requirements. Position is contingent upon award.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a two-year electronics technician program from an accredited technical institute or completion of applicable factory/formal training.
  • Equivalent military or civilian experience may be substituted when approved by the Government.
  • Five (5) years of management experience, including two (2) years managing electronic maintenance operations.
  • Minimum twelve (12) months of supervisory electronics maintenance experience.
  • Four (4) to six (6) years of simulator maintenance experience, including at least two (2) years maintaining complex military training systems, subsystems, or similar devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize resources, communicate effectively, and train technical personnel.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
  • Experience using electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Knowledge of configuration management principles and Government property accountability requirements.
  • Familiarity with DoD maintenance reporting systems, IUID requirements, and GIDEP processes.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with DoD cybersecurity, CUI handling, and OPSEC requirements.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize resources and support operational training schedules.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), including successful completion of a minimum Tier 1/NACI background investigation.
  • Must complete all required Department of Defense and customer-directed training, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Operations Security (OPSEC) training.
  • Must comply with all applicable security requirements, including 32 CFR Part 117 (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required installation access credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Organizational (O-Level), Intermediate (I-Level), and Depot (D-Level) maintenance on training devices and associated systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including fault isolation, troubleshooting, testing, alignment, calibration, repair, and replacement of components and equipment.
  • Conduct system readiness checks at least 30 minutes prior to all scheduled training events.
  • Perform and document Operational Readiness Tests (ORTs).
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical adjustments and repairs.
  • Perform software loading and mission setup configurations.
  • Operate training devices in support of scheduled training events.
  • Assist with installation, checkout, and implementation of system modifications and upgrades.
  • Maintain Item Unique Identification (IUID) tagging and labeling requirements.
  • Monitor equipment obsolescence and support reporting through the Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) process.
  • Prepare and submit Repairable Item Reports within required timelines.
  • Maintain configuration management controls using only Government-approved parts and components.
  • Report Non-Mission Capable (NMC) equipment status within one hour of identification.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and required contract documentation, including CDRL submissions.
  • Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and accountability of equipment and repair parts.
  • Ensure training devices are mission capable and available to support scheduled training events.
  • Supervise and train maintenance personnel and document progress within On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs.
  • Solicit customer feedback regarding training device readiness and support quality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
