Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics OR Associate’s degree in Electronics plus 2+ years of related experience OR high school diploma/equivalent plus 4+ years of related experience
  • Ability to use basic test equipment such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators and counters, hi pot testers and power supplies
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Able to lift 50 lbs occasionally

Nice To Haves

  • Previous railroad experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; legible handwriting
  • Microsoft Excel and word experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented
  • Previous experience using basic test equipment
  • Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing
  • Demonstrated moderate problem solving skills in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Production testing on a variety of electronic products
  • Use test equipment to determine pass/fail requirements
  • Use of electronic test stands
  • Ensure personal compliance to Quality Systems processes
  • Proactively participate in safety and lean programs
  • Set up test with minimal supervision
