Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A proven track record in customer service
  • Good computer/data entry and typing skills
  • Basic ten-key
  • A working knowledge of the Intranet
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, professional image, and be self-motivated
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional interpersonal communications skills
  • Possess a detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software applications that is adequate to perform the duties assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with other departments regarding correcting errors and answering questions related to Electronic Services.
  • Research and answer member questions regarding their accounts.
  • Respond to members’ requests, problems, and or complaints.
  • Investigate research requests.
  • Possess a detailed working knowledge of ACH.
  • Process EFT payrolls
  • Process and/or review Mobile Deposits and Image ATM check images.
  • Process incoming check files and check copy requests.
  • Process daily bill pay files and returns.
  • Maintain daily, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
  • Process card requests for ATM, Visa debit and credit.
  • Process Visa and ATM fraud claims and disputes.
  • Balance FedForward items for all branches and transmit to Federal Reserve Bank by designated cut-off times.
  • Represents the Credit Union with honesty, integrity and trust at all times.
  • Adheres to established internal policies and procedures for compliance.
  • Completes required compliance training in a timely manner and complies with all regulations within scope of the position.
  • Adheres to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act and anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Be willing to perform any duty (beyond Essential Functions above) as assigned.
  • Provide exemplary internal customer service and foster teamwork throughout the credit union.
  • Communicate effectively and positively with members, coworkers, and management.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle different situations; i.e., demonstrate versatility.
  • Be responsible in developing and maintaining a high level of product service knowledge.
  • Recognize and listen to member/coworker requests and/or concerns and identify their needs so they may be better served.
  • Assist with gathering information as required of the position and/or as requested by the supervisor.
