About The Position

The Electronic Product Design Engineer is responsible to design and develop electronic circuits and test methodologies for new products. This role involves completing electronic design tasks applying sound engineering principles, participating in new product development brainstorming and review sessions, and creating and revising electrical design documentation. The engineer will collaborate with other engineers and PCB designers, prototype, test, and debug designs, and complete on and off-site testing of new products. Additionally, the role includes designing and building product and sub-assembly test systems. The employee works under general supervision, exercises discretion within their area of responsibility, and advises others within the organization on matters within their area of expertise.

Requirements

  • Solid background in electrical engineering design principles.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Employee must be able to create advanced templates and linking complex databases, spreadsheets and other documents.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • Specialized training or certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • C/C++/Python skills preferred.
  • Background and experience in audio systems preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.
