Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One year Customer Service Experience
  • Must be bondable upon hire
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and regulatory requirements for electronic payments and negative share accounts.
  • Strong sense of customer service with excellent written and verbal communication skills to support Members and team members.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to work efficiently in a high-volume environment under multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to research, solve problems, and make decisions regarding complex daily work; effective problem-solving skills to identify, research, propose, and execute resolutions.
  • Readily learns new technologies and uses Royal’s digital solutions; works independently on assigned tasks within a team environment with meticulous attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business Management
  • Experience working in a financial institution or related experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide multi-channel product support to Royal Credit Union team members and Members for all Royal's card products, check processing and electronic transactions.
  • Processing of daily manual payroll, transaction adjustments, and reviewing/maintaining reports.
  • Providing the highest level of service to internal and external members.
  • Answering questions, using logical reasoning to research and solve problems and perform transactions.
