Requirements

  • Five years related experience in financial services
  • One year managing other employees preferred
  • A four-year degree (BS, BA, BSC, etc.) from an accredited College or University preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • AAP/NCP is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of OFAC and BSA (Office of Foreign Assets Control)
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily electronic payment operations, including domestic and international wire transfers, ACH processing, check processing, mobile deposits, and other payment-related transactions. Ensure all activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established service levels and regulatory timeframes.
  • Manage operational risk and compliance controls by ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, internal policies, NACHA rules, wire transfer requirements, and fraud prevention procedures. Monitor exceptions, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive an exceptional member experience by monitoring member feedback, addressing escalated issues, and identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and overall satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to team members by setting performance expectations, conducting regular performance reviews, delivering feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Support strategic departmental and organizational initiatives, including system implementations, process improvements, product enhancements, and other projects that strengthen the payment services function.
  • Cross-train on all department functions and serve as a hands-on resource and backup for critical operational tasks, ensuring seamless support during staffing absences, peak processing periods, and emergency situations.
