About The Position

The Electronic Imaging Technician Lead oversees, organizes, and coordinates the overall operation of the team. The role directs, implements, and updates policies, procedures, and protocols to streamline workflow, improve efficiency, and strengthen quality assurance. With moderate supervision, the position performs technical analysis, design, support, implementation, and project management for technology-related activities. It also provides customer support for technology, using the Information Systems platform to track issues and perform trend analysis. The position is based at SRMC-Sutter Roseville Medical Center. It is a regular, non-exempt, full-time role with a day shift, eight-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, and no weekend requirements. Employees may handle hazardous drugs as part of their work, in accordance with NIOSH and USP 800 guidelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Four years of recent relevant experience.
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with co-workers, patients, and families.
Advanced computer skills with PACS, RIS, and/or other imaging-related software.
Critical-thinking skills and decisive judgment.
Ability to work under supervision or with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment and take appropriate action in emergent situations.
