About The Position
At SAH-Sutter Amador Hospital, the Electronic Imaging Technician I performs routine tasks to retrieve and file x-ray film files. The role processes requests for x-ray records and assists with the accurate, timely acquisition and distribution of digital and hardcopy patient records. The technician contributes to efficient department operations by responding promptly to concerns related to x-ray records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with coworkers, patients, and families.
- Computer skills with PACS, RIS, and/or other imaging-related software.
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- Ability to work under supervision or with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment and take appropriate action in emergent situations.
