About The Position

This is a 6-month internship opportunity starting as soon as possible, ideal for individuals who have recently completed or are very close to finishing their studies. There may be a possibility for extension beyond the initial term and potential for longer-term opportunities, but any extension or future role is not guaranteed and will depend on business needs and individual performance. As an Electronic Engineering Intern, you will join a cross-functional engineering team to support the design, testing, and improvement of electronic sub-systems used in medical devices and/or supporting equipment. This internship is intentionally hands-on and learning-focused, offering meaningful project ownership, close mentorship, regular feedback, and exposure to disciplined engineering best practices. You will receive guided technical and professional development through mentoring and regular coaching touchpoints. You will gain experience working within an engineering organization that designs, tests, and improves technology to meet performance and compliance expectations, and you will have opportunities to strengthen real-world skills in laboratory work, technical documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and communication of technical results.

  • Support bench testing and verification activities, including executing test plans, collecting and analyzing data, summarizing findings, and assisting with root-cause investigations.
  • Assist with design updates and continuous improvement efforts on existing electronic designs or test setups; propose and evaluate design alternatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering partners (e.g., R&D and adjacent functions) to deliver project milestones and gain exposure to structured development processes.
  • Create and maintain clear, well-organized engineering documentation (e.g., test reports, lab notebooks, build notes, and procedures) that supports traceability and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in structured internship activities, including onboarding, project kickoff, regular one-on-one meetings with a mentor, and end-of-internship presentations or posters.
