About The Position

To support the Center for Women and Children Services with the electronic birth record process utilizing the NJDHSS Vital Information Platform (VIP) system.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of formal business/medical training.
Completion of a medical terminology course.
At least 3-6 months experience as a Business Associate, where applicable required.
Computer Experience Knowledge of windows environment.
Previous customer service experience.
Medical office experience.
Effective communication and writing skills – ability to articulate and use proper spelling and grammar.
Effective interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with co-workers and other staff.
Effective presentation skills.
Effective critical thinking skills – analytical, problem-solving, decision making, prioritizing, time management, etc.
Ability to pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Typing/Keyboarding 25 – 30 wpm at a minimum.
