About The Position
Snelling Staffing has an opening for a skilled Electronic Assembly & Repair Technician at our client located in Royal Oak. This is a contract-to-hire position with a pay rate of $20.00 - $23.00/hour.
Requirements
- Experience with lead free and traditional soldering, crimping, and electronic assembly techniques.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
- Ability to read schematics and follow assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience with calibration and repair of electronic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Build cable assemblies by crimping or soldering connector pins or sockets to appropriately colored wires and completing final assembly.
- Construct shunt assemblies by soldering wires to the shunt blade, installing brackets, and calibrating the assembly.
- Repair electronic Allamand solar arrow board controllers.
- Assist with modifications of analog and digital electrical/electronic meters.
- Support the repair and calibration of electrical/electronic test equipment.
