The Electronic Repair Technician Under general supervision, builds, repairs, and/or tests a wide range of electronic and/or precision medical equipment in a workbench environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience repairing electronic devices
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic knowledge and ability to use hand tools (e.g., pliers, screwdriver, hammer, wrench, etc.), power tools, and test equipment.
  • Proficient in use of computers/office equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
  • Basic math and measuring skills.
  • Demonstrated mechanical/electrical problem solving.
  • Previous repair experience required
  • Applicants must already have full-time work authorization in the United States, both now and in the future, without requiring sponsorship.

  • Associate degree or Certificate in Electronics/Repair Program preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for systematic processing of repair orders.
  • Responsible for the repair and testing of a variety of new and older products using standard and/or non-standard tools, equipment, and procedures.
  • Utilize engineering schematics and/or follow documented service procedures to perform tasks as assigned.
  • Perform precision repairs involving a considerable number of details and independent judgement.
  • Must comply with all documentation procedures and standards.
  • Ensure all products and workstations are thoroughly and properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Must adhere to all guidance documents and task instructions.
  • Must adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Responsible for the verification of system performance by completing operational tests.
  • Documents repair information per repair process requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned
