About The Position

We are searching for a highly motivated Quality Technician with in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes to join our ISO 9001 certified team. Your passion for quality processes and practices, training and continuous improvements will drive success in this position. Within the Autonomy & Positioning division, your work will contribute to the operation of our brand Antcom. The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Torrance, California.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Some working experience of soldering
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of RF and electronics theory
  • Ablility to read and understand electrical circuits and schematics
  • Ability to work mornings/afternoons from 5:30 AM - 3 PM or evenings/nights from 1:30 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Applicants for select positions that require access to information controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”) must be US Persons per ITAR §120.15 and EAR §772.1 (i.e., a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or admitted to the U.S. as an asylee or refugee), or be otherwise eligible to obtain required authorization from the U.S. Government to access controlled information. Employment is contingent upon Antcom’s ability to obtain such required authorization for the applicant

Nice To Haves

  • J std Certify IPC soldering training
  • Experience in testing RF circuits circuits using meters, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test equipment
  • Familiarity with ISO9001:2008 and other quality workmanship standards
  • Technical post-secondary education or equivalent technical/mechanical knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Solder and assemble RF hardware including antennas and RF circuits
  • Test the performance of antennas and wireless communication products using electronic test equipment
  • Conduct test and measurement procedures independently
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware
