About The Position

While working under moderate supervision, the Electronic Assembler is responsible for performing mechanical, optical, and electrical assembly and test operations that meet or exceed established company standards. This role involves performing basic testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet requirements and working with a team to meet all assembly requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or +six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with soldering (IPC J-STD-001 Certified preferred).
  • Experience with ESD
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2000
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, assembly drawings and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in the English language.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Lift 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Perform various assembly operations requiring manual dexterity and repetitive motions.
  • Stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and regularly requires walking, sitting, talking, and using hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
