About The Position

Viessmann is looking for an Electronic Assembler in Waterloo (onsite) who can assemble various electronic products daily and maintaining quality and comply with all regulatory compliance and guidelines. This is a 1st shift role. This is a current vacancy for which Carrier/Viessmann is currently hiring.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1 plus years of experience in building control panels or electronic assembling of products
Read electrical schematics and drawings and apply to equipment assembly
Operate necessary hand and power tools
Self motivated
Work independently and in a team in a collaborative cross functional set up
Verbal and written English communication skills
Attention to details, aptitude for troubleshooting and diagnostic capability
Basic computer knowledge
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

Electrical Technician Diploma, or equivalent discipline
Experience in inventory management
Analytical thinking, focused and reliable in handling assigned tasks
Organizational skills with demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to projects

Responsibilities

Build electrical production items from schematics & drawings, use best practices for efficiencies, accuracy and complete in a timely manner
Prepare wire harnesses and cables for production
Work close with the production team
Use quality assurance guidelines to perform spot-checks and panel testing
Monitor continually the inventory levels and report shortages to purchasing department
Stay compliant & adhere to health and safety requirements and regulations, and maintain a clean/tidy workspace
