About The Position

Set up and execute tests on large commercial consumer packaging systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime. Read and apply engineering blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate configurations. The position is located in Cedar Rapids, in a climate-controlled environment, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation progresses from $30.88 initially to $32.46 at 12 months.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Skills in equipment troubleshooting, mechanical troubleshooting, precision measurement and hand metrology, machine setups for production runs, communication, shop math, and blueprint reading.

Nice To Haves

• A.A.S. in Industrial Maintenance Technology (2-year), or 2–5 years in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate (Silver or higher).
