About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This is a hands-on position supporting production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Diploma in Electromechanics (required).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an electromechanical technician role or a related transferable maintenance field.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working with mechanical and electrical systems.
General computer proficiency.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification is an asset (training can be provided if needed).
Experience with UV printing equipment is a strong asset.
Mandarin language skills are a strong asset to support communication with suppliers in China.
French and English bilingualism is preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Install, adjust, and maintain manufacturing machinery.
Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Perform equipment inspections and recommend improvements.
Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Work closely with production staff to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Follow all health and safety procedures.
