(EEG Tech) Electroencephalographic Technologist (Full-Time, Monday-Thursday 10a -8:30p)
About The Position
The role of the EEG Tech reports to the Sleep Lab Manager. This position, under the supervision of a Registered EEG Tech and Physician, will be responsible for assisting with EEG testing. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- CPR, required.
- Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) required within 6 years of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in EEG or a sleep lab, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of test including ensuring all materials are available and assisting with electrode application
- Ensure patient safety during clinical testing
- Observe testing to record electrical activity emitting from the brain and input into the appropriate software
- Prepare data and documentation for interpretation by a physician
