About The Position

The Electro-Optical and Mechanical Assembly role involves assembling, reworking, and repairing products and assemblies according to engineering specifications and specification changes. The employee follows written technical instructions and performs work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. The role requires maintaining production workstation inventory and a clean, safe work area. The position is listed for 12 months in McKinney, Texas, with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour and a first-shift schedule of 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (such as a GED in the United States), or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
• Experience with electro-optical and mechanical assemblies.
• Experience working in a clean room environment.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
• Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment.
• Maintain inventory of production workstations.
• Perform quality work checks, identify product defects, and record identified defects.
• Assemble, rework, and/or repair assemblies and products according to engineering specification changes.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
