About The Position

We are a fast-paced business with ambitious growth plans; so if you are dedicated, enthusiastic and always seeking ways to improve, you'll enjoy a career with us! Our 100,000 sq ft Creedmoor facility brings together a broad mix of electronic, avionic and electro-mechanical aerospace capabilities, alongside several businesses within the Ontic Group. From flight-control actuators and cockpit instrumentation to fire-protection systems and data recorders, the teams at Creedmoor support a diverse portfolio of products that perform critical functions across civil and military aircraft. It's a collaborative, fast-moving environment where engineering, manufacturing, quality and support teams work together to solve complex challenges. For people who like taking ownership, finding better ways to do things and seeing the impact of their work, there's plenty of opportunity to make a difference. As an Electro/Mechanical Test Technician at Ontic, you'll work hands-on with the electronic and electro-mechanical products manufactured at our Creedmoor facility, helping ensure they are assembled, tested and calibrated to meet demanding aerospace standards. You'll combine technical testing with troubleshooting and hands-on manufacturing support, using schematics, work instructions and specialized test equipment to identify issues and help keep production moving. You'll also work closely with engineering colleagues to troubleshoot, modify and repair units that don't meet requirements. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with hardware, solving technical problems and using their electronics and mechanical knowledge in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
