About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician III to join our team in Maple Grove, MN. This role involves assembling electronic and mechanical components, supporting the development and testing of electro-mechanical systems, and performing precision assembly for micro/nano-scale components. The technician will operate electronic test equipment, generate test data, maintain safety standards, and assist engineers with various activities.

Requirements

• Proficiency with electronic test equipment (scopes, meters) and hand tools
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fine motor skills
• Knowledge of J-STD-001 or similar standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Troubleshooting of electrical/electronic systems
• Experience with automated test equipment (e.g., Cirris)
• Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards
• Basic understanding of 3D CAD and GD&T

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and work instructions
• Support development, testing, and modification of electro-mechanical systems
• Operate electronic test equipment and generate test data/reports
• Perform precision assembly for micro/nano-scale components
• Maintain safety standards and support lab operations
• Assist engineers with design, fabrication, and troubleshooting activities
