Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, aerospace manufacturing, or wire harness fabrication.
  • Advanced proficiency in precision soldering, contact crimping, and reading complex wiring schematics.
  • Great manual dexterity, ability to stand for long periods, and the safety-first mindset to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • High attention to details and the ability to work from basic hardware components up to finished, complex systems.
  • This role requires access to export-controlled information, subject to the ITAR and EAR, for which the company will not pursue an export license/license exception. Must be a US person (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals) to be eligible for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Active or prior training in industry standards: IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, or J-STD-001 is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build critical, high-power microwave radar transmitter cabinets from the ground up!
  • Transform blueprints into complex mechanical and electrical assemblies using precision hand tools, pneumatic crimpers, and calibrated torque gear.
  • Assemble heavy-duty structural components, chassis, and wire harnesses using complex production drawings and schematics.
  • Perform high-quality soldering, crimping, wire routing, and multi-pin connector assembly.
  • Run self-inspections to ensure every connection meets engineering and quality standards.
