About The Position

Work as an Electro-Mechanical Technician I on night shift (Third Shift) between 10:00pm and 6:30am from Sunday night to Thursday night. This role involves assisting in planning, designing, fabricating and installing wiring and control systems, as well as performing bench-work activities like rebuilds, wiring, operational checks and upgrades. The technician will collaborate with Maintenance Technicians to repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical/electronic systems and support facility systems such as chillers, air handling, and boilers. The position requires adherence to technical manuals, schematics, and documented specifications, interfacing with various departments, and performing seasonal electro-mechanical activities during non-standard hours. Flexibility to cover other shifts, site grounds maintenance (including snow removal and gardening), participation in training, and guiding new hires are also part of the role. Adherence to Company policies, SOPs, GMP, ISO, and safety protocols, along with maintaining a tidy workspace, is essential.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Sound technical abilities (troubleshooting electrical circuits, mechanical systems, pneumatics), along with facility systems

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Work as an Electro-Mechanical Technician I on night shift (Third Shift) between 10:00pm and 6:30am from Sunday night to Thursday night
  • Assist in planning, designing, fabricating and installing wiring and control systems
  • Tackle bench-work activities to include, rebuilds, wiring, operational checks and upgrades
  • Work in conjunction with Maintenance Technicians to repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, electrical/electronic systems
  • Perform work by referencing and adhering to technical manuals, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, shop drawings, data sheets, wiring drawings and other documented specifications
  • Support facility systems including chillers, air handling, boilers, etc.
  • Interface with Production, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain contacts
  • Monitor and perform seasonal electro-mechanical activities on equipment during non-standard work hours
  • Demonstrate flexibility in covering other shifts during instances of employee vacations or call-offs with the department
  • Perform maintenance of site grounds, including snow removal, moderate gardening and weed control
  • Participate in required trainings and meetings
  • Help guide and train new hires
  • Follow Company policies, SOPs, GMP, ISO and safety protocols
  • Maintain a tidy and safe workspace
