About The Position

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Senior Analyst Engineer to join the Dishwasher Team at the Saint Joseph Technology Center in Saint Joseph, Michigan. This onsite role drives New Product Development for innovative electromechanical, thermal, and hydraulic components for North American regional dishwasher products. The engineer owns the Dry System module and the Dry Performance and Satisfaction attributes. The role provides technical leadership in developing and executing Dry module roadmaps that complement Energy requirements. It involves collaboration with system architects, laboratory teams, procurement, global design studios, external suppliers, and manufacturing teams to support robust Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA). The engineer manages release schedules, mitigates risks, and works toward Total Cost of Quality (TCQ) and Total Variable Cost (TVC) goals across global product lines. The successful candidate uses consumer insights and industry trends to develop next-generation appliance solutions, mentors and collaborates with a globally distributed team, establishes data-acquisition strategies, and leads technical reviews to improve Dry system performance and reliability. Periodic domestic travel is required for workshops, research, and cross-functional project reviews.
