About The Position

Westaff is hiring Electro Mechanical Assemblers in Danvers, MA. This role involves utilizing work instructions, bill of materials, blueprints, and schematics to produce zero defect assemblies and/or subassemblies for a variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations. The assembler will follow methods and/or sequence of operations, performing tasks such as wiring, component installation, kit assembly, inspection, crimping, and soldering. The position requires the ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical schematics, understand measurements and tolerances, and assemble parts or units, positioning, aligning, and fastening them to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames using hand tools and power tools. Connecting cables, tubes, and wiring according to specifications is also a key responsibility. The role allows for independent work based on instructions and on-the-job training. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required, along with strong technical and verbal/written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Utilize work instructions, bill of materials, blueprints and schematics to produce zero defect assemblies and/or subassemblies.
Perform wiring, component installation, kit assembly, and inspection.
Perform crimping and soldering.
Read and understand electrical/mechanical schematics.
Understand measurements and tolerances.
Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.
