About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the reliability and performance of production and facility equipment through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. This role helps ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations by troubleshooting equipment issues, performing repairs, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems.

Requirements

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and specifications.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components such as motors, relays, contactors, and control circuits using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
  • Operate machine shop equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and band saws, to fabricate or modify parts as needed.
  • Maintain and repair industrial support systems such as compressors, pumps, cooling units, and fluid delivery equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair automated controls, sensors, and PLC-based systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend long-term solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage within maintenance management systems.
  • Assist with inventory control, spare parts management, and organization of maintenance storage areas.
  • Repair and maintain both production machinery and facility infrastructure.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, equipment audits, and operational excellence programs.
  • Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently while meeting production requirements.
  • Properly wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain dependable attendance and demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and operational goals.
