About The Position

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform scheduled preventative maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. As an Electro Mechanic, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing and industrial operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and electronic systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electro Mechanic or in a similar industrial maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and industrial electrical systems.
  • Hands-on experience with high-voltage equipment and low-voltage control electronics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical failures independently.
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to respond to urgent repair needs.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, meters, and hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, lubricate, adjust, and replace mechanical and electrical components as required.
  • Document maintenance activities and report equipment condition and trends.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical failures, including bearings, motors, drives, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
  • Identify root causes of mechanical breakdowns and recommend corrective actions.
  • Align, assemble, and disassemble mechanical systems according to specifications.
  • Diagnose issues with low‑voltage electronics, such as sensors, relays, PLC I/O, HMIs, and control circuits.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Support startup, shutdown, and commissioning of equipment following maintenance or repair.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation to respond to emergency equipment failures.
  • Provide troubleshooting support during production hours to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with operators, engineers, and other maintenance personnel to resolve issues efficiently.
