As an Electrification Lab Technician III at John Deere in Fargo, ND, you will work with design/test engineers on building test fixtures, debug circuitry, test setup, equipment maintenance and/or performing testing. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following: Set up Dynamometers for electric motor and/or inverter testing. Perform inspection and test as necessary to determine cause of defective electronic assemblies with instruction. Rework products per company and industry standards. Build test harnesses, loads and circuit boards to support product design as required. Document and maintain records relating to work performed. Inform supervisor of process or design problems and assist in the corrective action. Communicate with others in a professional and effective manner. Design and build engineering test fixtures. Perform other associated tasks as required from supervisor and manager. Contact and work with external venders and suppliers for equipment support. Research and gather test data for errors and root causes. Perform testing and create test reports. Create work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. This is a first shift (day) position.
