Requirements

  • Hold, or able to get, a State of Michigan Journeyman License.
  • Ability to work any shift and work some overtime, including daily, weekend and holidays
  • Experience working from blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications
  • Electrical experience supporting manufacturing operations to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment
  • Experience in replacing broken or defective parts in equipment or machines, electrical equipment and tooling
  • Experience in PLC (programmable logic controller) programming and troubleshooting
  • Experience with industrial controls, conveyance systems, motor control centers, power distribution panels, electrical starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge and troubleshooting experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
