This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for installing, supporting, and commissioning industrial electrical systems for anaerobic digester and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) construction projects across Ohio and Indiana. This position works under the direction of an Electrical Foreman and is focused on industrial power, controls, and construction environments. This role is not residential or light-commercial. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is comfortable working in active construction environments at agricultural and industrial facilities. Travel during the work week may be required depending on your home location but will be home on weekends. Travel/hotels is paid for by the company. A company vehicle or mileage reimbursement is also provided. Primary Responsibilities: Perform installation and support of industrial electrical systems for RNG and anaerobic digester construction projects. Install electrical equipment including: Conduit systems (rigid, EMT, PVC-coated, underground) Power and control wiring (AC/DC) Junction boxes, disconnects, panels, MCCs, VFDs, motors, and instrumentation Pull, terminate, and label power, control, and signal cabling. Assist with commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of new electrical systems. Interpret and work from industrial electrical drawings, including one-lines, schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and vendor cut sheets. Follow direction from the Electrical Foreman to execute work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the construction schedule. Assist in identifying and resolving constructability issues in the field. Use hand tools, power tools, meters, testers, and electrical trade-specific tools as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site. Adhere to all company safety policies, jobsite safety rules, and applicable electrical codes. Support other construction activities as needed to advance the project. This role does not involve residential service work, tenant fit-outs, or production housing. Other duties in support of company operations as needed. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions This is a field-based construction role. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, climbing ladders and stairs, lifting and carrying materials, pulling and terminating wire, and working in outdoor and industrial environments, including inclement weather. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and must be worn as required, including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, fall protection, and gas monitors. Work Schedule This position offers a regular scheduled work week, with an 8-hour day shift. Overtime and extended shifts available and/or required from time to time. The ideal candidate for this position will live in or close to Fort Wayne, Indiana or Van Wert, Ohio. This geographic location is within roughly 30 min to 1.5 hours from most locations we are building over the next several years and would significantly reduce the amount of overnight hotel stays needed.
