" POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a detail-oriented, safety-focused Electrician with proven expertise in troubleshooting complex electrical systems and experience in programming automated controls. The ideal candidate is skilled in diagnosing faults, performing efficient repairs, programming VFDs, and configuring PLCs.

Requirements

  • Electrical License required.
  • Associate degree (A. A.) and a minimum of one (1) year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • English Proficiency.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing malfunctioning components, systems, and equipment using electrical testing tools and equipment.
  • Inspecting electrical components to identify defects, hazards, or need for repair or adjustment to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Installing electrical wiring, fixtures, components and equipment in accordance with electrical standards and code.
  • Completing routine inspections of the material handling equipment hazard monitoring systems.
  • Programming and configuring electrical systems such as variable frequency drives, and PLC’s.
  • Travel regularly to Agtegra sites to complete position requirements.
  • Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned
