About The Position

JLL is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our facilities team at a premier manufacturing facility in Brookville, Ohio. This mid-level position combines technical expertise with leadership opportunities, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring optimal facility performance, maintaining safety compliance, and supporting seamless manufacturing operations. Working on the 3rd shift, you'll collaborate with a skilled trades team to troubleshoot complex electrical issues, respond to emergency repairs, and maintain comprehensive service records. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge industrial systems while potentially training and mentoring other team members in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrical License
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Valid state driver's license in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of trade experience in electrical maintenance and repair
  • Expertise in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in industrial environments
  • Knowledge of single and three-phase electrical systems, motor controls, and electrical safety codes
  • Physical ability to perform bending, standing, climbing, walking, and safely operate manual tools and power equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Low voltage systems experience and CMMS or database experience for work order management
  • Experience reading and comprehending electrical plans, blueprints, and understanding applicable electrical codes
  • Knowledge of standard practices in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems
  • Leadership experience or willingness to mentor and train other team members
  • Manufacturing or industrial facility experience with additional trade certifications or technical education
  • Availability for call-in work, emergency response, and flexibility to perform cross-training opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, maintain, and upgrade electrical equipment including single and three-phase motor wiring, conduit runs, and machinery connections
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify repair and replacement needs, checking and replacing valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, and wiring components
  • Maintain and service fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, and other functional electrical system components to ensure uninterrupted facility operations
  • Install and rebuild pumps, motors, air compressors, and heat exchangers while replacing bearings, seals, and associated mechanical components
  • Maintain comprehensive service repair work order records using the CMMS system and respond promptly to routine and emergency repair calls
  • Collaborate with other skilled trades and departments to complete major building repairs, complex assignments, and cross-functional projects
  • Comply with all company safety and risk management policies, participate in safety meetings, and apply OSHA requirements in daily work activities
