Our products are designed to perform under the toughest conditions. Job Summary The positions within Electrician I are responsible for checking and completing work processes for the assigned tasks. This role performs a variety of tasks such as assembling, installing, routing, and wiring electrical parts together for the next process. The Electrician uses a variety of hand tools including but not limited to drills, hole saws, crimpers, wire cutters, strippers, electric drivers, etc. All Electricians will work in a hands-on, detail-driven role where their contributions will be seen and appreciated.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of relevant experience OR a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Previous Electro - Mechanical Experience.
  • Familiarity with control systems, conduit installation, or electronic assembly tasks (PCA Only)
  • May require forklift, overhead crane, or soldering certification depending on assignment (PCA Only)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Automotive Mechanics or Electro-Mechanical or equivalent.
  • Previous maintenance or operational experience (Volterra Only)
  • Experience in troubleshooting electrical components or circuit boards (PCA Only)
  • Familiarity with Syteline or Team Center systems (PCA Only)
  • Previous experience assembling large electrical units or control panels (PCA Only)

Responsibilities

  • Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a productive working environment
  • Follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks
  • Assembling, wiring, installing, and routing electrical parts
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures and 6S standards
  • Willingness to participate in equipment testing and continuous improvement efforts within assigned operations
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to assemble components accurately
  • Install, connect, and route wiring, cables, and electrical assemblies in accordance with work instructions
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems, including replacing faulty components
  • Prepare and complete work orders in the MRP system (e.g., Syteline ) and apply identification tags or markings as needed
  • Perform visual self-inspection of work and correct identified issues before final testing
  • Use meters and test equipment to validate continuity, accuracy, and safety of assembled systems
  • Support training of new employees and escalate process improvements as needed
