About The Position
Kiewit is hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for the Woodfibre Project in Squamish, BC. This project is located in Squamish, BC, and Woodfibre LNG will be the world’s first net-zero LNG export facility, setting up a new global standard for sustainability in the energy industry. Requirements
- 5+ years experience
- Journeyman Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred)
- Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Certification
- Fall Protection Certification
- CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015
- Experience with temporary power systems and care and preservation work
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety standards
- Valid driver’s license and must provide 5 year driver's abstract
- Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test
Nice To Haves
- Red Seal preferred
Responsibilities
- Proficient in cable tray system installation, including layout, support installation, and alignment
- Experience with performing cable pulls, including large‑scale, multi‑conductor and heavy industrial cables
- Ability to work at heights and in varying site conditions.
