About The Position

The Electrician is responsible for performing skilled electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and operational support across critical building systems. This hands-on role ensures electrical infrastructure is safe, reliable, and maintained in alignment with JLL standards, client expectations, and site regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician or applicable industrial electrician experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems up to 480V.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Experience using CMMS software for maintenance documentation.
  • Ability to work independently or in cross-disciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in GMP, manufacturing, or controlled environments.
  • Familiarity with validated or mission-critical equipment.
  • Experience with BAS/BMS electrical components and low-voltage controls.
  • OSHA 10 or comparable electrical safety training.
  • Experience with generators, UPS systems, and emergency distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems up to 480V, including panels, breakers, MCCs, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and lighting.
  • Install, repair, and maintain conduit, wiring, outlets, switches, motors, controls, and associated components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools, meters, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Support electrical requirements for HVAC/R equipment, pumps, boilers, chilled water systems, and mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to NFPA 70, NEC, and site-specific electrical safety procedures (including LOTO).
  • Work from electrical drawings, schematics, prints, and verbal instructions.
  • Support installation and startup of new equipment and system upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain electrical components of BAS/BMS systems (power supplies, sensors, actuators).
  • Complete CMMS documentation accurately (PMs, corrective work orders, inspections).
  • Follow SOPs, GMP guidelines, and change-control processes where required.
  • Support electrical needs in controlled environments such as cleanrooms, laboratories, and temperature-regulated areas.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to facility alarms and service requests.
  • Perform minor facility tasks (lighting replacement, low-voltage troubleshooting, resets).
  • Support shutdowns, outages, seasonal prep, and special projects as assigned.
  • Provide excellent customer service with clear communication and follow-through.
