Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair production equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment up to 480V.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics (ladder logic).
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Willingness to work extended schedules, weekends, and any assigned shift during the fresh pack season (typically July through early November).

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman Electrician Washington State License (A+) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sketches showing the location of wiring and equipment or follow diagrams and blueprints, ensuring concealed wiring is installed prior to completion of walls, ceilings, and flooring.
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
  • Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
  • Connect power cables to equipment (e.g., motors, electric ranges) and install grounding leads.
  • Test circuit continuity and ensure electrical compatibility and safety using testing instruments such as ohmmeters, batteries and buzzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and production equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Perform PLC troubleshooting and assist with programming as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work and ensure compliance with safety standards.
