Prysmian is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join their High-Performance Maintenance Team in Marion, IN. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing or plant setting.
Strong foundation in electrical systems, power distribution, motors, drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
Experience programming or working with PLCs.
Must pass background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

AS degree in electronics/electricity or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 460V.
Troubleshoot AC/DC motors up to 500 HP.
Repair relay-based electrical control systems.
Work with PLC Ladder Logic and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen Bradley required; Siemens is a plus).
Troubleshoot and repair motor control drives (Eurotherm, Parker, ABB).
Maintain and repair industrial heating systems (resistance-based).
Install and start up new industrial machinery.
Calibrate and inspect sensors and instrumentation including: Pressure transducers, Pneumatic and electrical controllers, Level indicators, Temperature/pressure transmitters, Limit switches and proximity sensors.
Perform preventative maintenance on production and plant equipment.
Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
Follow schematics, drawings, manuals, and written/verbal instructions to complete work efficiently.
