About The Position

JLL is seeking an Electrician (Perito Electricista) to join their team at the facilities of their client, a recognized multinational company. The Electrician will perform corrective, preventive, and inspection activities for utility equipment and electrical systems within the facility, including generators, electrical substations, power distribution systems (high and low voltage), chillers, cooling towers, boilers, air compressors, water systems, vacuum systems, and HVAC systems. They will also assist the facilities team in maintenance and repair efforts and independently perform defined tasks.

Requirements

  • Electrician License (Licencia de Perito Electricista).
  • 2+ years of experience as an Electrician, performing operations with medium/high voltage circuit breakers.
  • Driver's license.
  • Knowledge in Predictive Maintenance Program (desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of Safe Work practices, especially regarding energized work, work at heights, and confined spaces.
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, and mitigate or eliminate risk.
  • Ability to understand and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Perform and assist in identifying and implementing strategies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient electrical equipment and devices.
  • Provide technical assistance, training, and support in advanced electrical maintenance, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and practical repair guidance.
  • Perform other work including practical repair and maintenance in mechanics, electricity, plumbing, building automation systems, card access systems, door and gate systems, building envelope systems, grounds and parking areas, interior finishing systems, lighting systems, and various other tasks associated with the operation of a commercial property.
  • Conduct inspections and preventive rounds of systems and equipment, ensuring work orders are met according to applicable procedures.
  • Instruct electrician helpers on the electrical aspects of utilities such as air conditioning, chillers, cooling towers, water pumps, boilers, industrial air compressors, and vacuum pumps, high voltage electrical systems, and generator sets.
  • Possess practical skills and knowledge to complete necessary electrical repairs and maintenance of the facility (including, but not limited to: HVAC, lighting, emergency power, transfer switches, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) generators, vertical transport, life safety, and building automation systems) using standard industry tools and in accordance with all codes and laws.
