About The Position
Jennmar Services is now hiring Experienced Traveling Industrial Electricians based in Winchester, KY! This role requires a willingness to travel extensively to job sites, performing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial controls and automation, with hands-on PLC experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
- Live within driving distance of our Winchester Kentucky.
- Willingness to travel (possibly extended periods) to job sites within and outside of our local area 75% of the time.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician experience (license preferred where applicable)
- 3+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Hands-on PLC programming or troubleshooting experience
- Strong understanding of industrial controls and automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and control schematics
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems (480V, 240V, 120V)
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on motors, VFDs, MCCs, panels, sensors, and instrumentation
- Ensure compliance with NEC, MSHA/OSHA, and site-specific safety standards
- Support new equipment installs, system upgrades, and commissioning
