About The Position

The Electrician position is within the Engineering Department. This role requires a Journeyman skill level, typically achieved through an accepted 4-year apprentice program with classroom time and 8000 worked hours, or equivalent experience and technical skills gained from working in the trade for a number of years. The role involves industrial and commercial work, including conduit experience. The electrician must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, read schematics and blueprints, and possess a valid West Virginia Driver's License and an Electrician's License. Physical requirements include lifting up to 70 pounds regularly, walking, standing, climbing ladders, scaffolding, and stairs continuously, and the ability to work in confined spaces. The work conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, wet, involve long hours, confined spaces, and working in high places and on scaffolding. The role requires the ability to follow specific general instructions, make independent decisions, and work independently. Scaffolding erection and overtime are also required.

Requirements
