About The Position

This role involves supporting complex instrument and electrical repairs and retrofits, as well as the maintenance of electrical equipment throughout the mine and the mill. The electrician will assure compliance with MSHA and NEC regulations regarding electrical supply, distribution, and installation. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work safely around high and low voltage electrical circuits.
• The applicant must be able to work alone and be a self-starter.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the electrical field is preferred.
• Industrial background with knowledge in three phase power, medium voltage, MCC installation and repair and conduit bending, and installation preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics helpful.
• Any special licenses, certifications, and schooling, along with maintenance cross-training and any overtime shifts worked in maintenance will also be considered.
• Safety record, attendance and work performance will be considered prior to the interview process.
