We have multiple openings for Maintenance Repair Electricians at our advanced manufacturing facility in Fostoria, Ohio. This role is crucial for maintaining equipment and processes for a manufacturer supporting critical industries such as Space, Defense, and Power Generation. We offer competitive pay, with a top hourly rate of $36.13, and a focus on work-life balance with no forced overtime for hourly associates. Various shift opportunities are available, with shift differentials for off-shifts.

Requirements

  • Journeyman card or an equivalent apprenticeship and a minimum of 5 years' experience within the industrial electrical maintenance field, OR a 2-year degree in the electrical field with 3 years' experience.
  • Documented proof of experience in the industrial electrical field and/or a journeyman's card.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to reach above head level when working on elevated equipment.
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladder or stairs.
  • Ability to push and pull equipment into proper placement.
  • Ability to work in extreme or hot, cold environments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision but also with others in a team environment.
  • Strong industrial electrical background.
  • Must be a US Person as defined by 22CFR120.15.

Nice To Haves

  • PLC, VFD and instrumentation experience
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Having access to CUI (controlled unclassified information)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all electrical devices and machines within the plant and ensure proper running conditions, including all safety devices.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve all power distribution and manufacturing equipment.
  • Follow all Morgan safety standards and guidelines.
  • Follow all NFPA and National Electrical codes.
  • Utilize all Arc Flash gear when called upon.
  • Provide technical support for all electrical process equipment.
  • Perform moderate to complex installation, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment and components such as motors, drives, relays, starters, and other related electrical devices used for industrial equipment.
  • Ensure that no safety devices are by-passed or eliminated without proper authorization.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on all equipment.
  • Perform tasks as directed by plant supervisor.
  • Work with other trades to accomplish a positive outcome.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
